You don't struggle to give.
You struggle to receive.

THE MIRROR

You know how to give. Receiving might be the one thing you've never practiced.

You're the one people call first. The one who shows up without being asked twice.

The one who always has enough left over for everyone but yourself.

Nobody taught you to do this on purpose. You built it, one quiet sacrifice at a time, and you built it so well that most of the people who love you have no idea what it costs you.

Before we go any further, sit with these. Not to judge yourself. Just to notice.

  • I say, "I've got it," before anyone finishes offering.
  • I would rather struggle in silence than ask and feel like a burden.
  • The moment someone helps me; I start calculating how to pay them back.
  • A compliment lands for half a second before I correct it.
  • When money or ease comes without a fight, I brace for what it will cost me.
  • I hesitate to ask for a raise or a deserved promotion, an invitation, a seat at the table.
  • I can tell you what everyone around me needs before I can tell you what I need.
  • Someone reaches to hold me, and my body tightens before it softens.
  • A gift feels like a debt with my name already on it.
  • It is easier to earn love than to receive it.

None of this is a personality trait. It's a pattern. And it's the exact pattern keeping you managing your relationship with God instead of letting Him love you.

You keep giving. Underneath the competence, something in you has gone quiet.

WHAT THIS IS COSTING YOU

Here's what nobody tells you about a life built on over giving. It doesn't run out all at once. It erodes.

  • 01You lose your capacity for the small joys first, they use to come easily and now feel like one more thing on the list.
  • 02Then you lose your patience, the kind you used to have plenty of.
  • 03Then you lose the parts of you that only exist for their own sake: curiosity, rest, delight, creativity.
  • 04Eventually you lose the very thing all this giving was supposed to protect. Closeness. Because it’s impossible to be close to the people you love, or to God, while part of you is making sure you never need anything from them.

This isn't something you manage your way out of with a better system or a firm boundary. It requires a different foundation. Not more effort. A different place to give from.

AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

Burnout, or Spiritual Collapse?

I heard it from my mother and my grandmother, two devout Catholic women who taught me to love God mostly by pouring themselves out for everyone around them.

"It's better to give than to receive."

So, I gave. I called it faith. I called it love. I called it being a good person.

Eventually I called it exhaustion, and not the kind a weekend away fixes. My body kept moving. Something underneath it had gone quiet.

It wasn't burnout. It was something deeper. I was giving from a well that was never meant to be the source.

Giving is not the problem. The identity you're giving from is.

Giving from your identity in Christ is different. You receive from Him first. What you give flows from what He has already filled.

That distinction, between managing your faith and receiving from God, is what this entire workshop is built around.

WHAT WE WILL DO TOGETHER

Transform the identity beneath the depletion

During this four-hour live workshop, I will guide you through the Identity Alignment Method so you can uncover what is keeping you from receiving freely and fully.

  • Recognize the patterns that keep you over giving, over functioning, or quietly carrying everything alone
  • Identify the false identity underneath those patterns
  • Create your personal Identity Map
  • Experience the Identity Alignment Method
  • Align yourself with the truth of who you are in Christ
  • Begin receiving without guilt, shame, or fear
  • Choose practical steps for giving from overflow instead of depletion

This is not about becoming less generous or withdrawing from the people who need you. It's about letting Christ restore the proper order. You receive from Him, you abide in Him, and you give from what He already supplies. You were never meant to be the source.

PICTURE THIS

Picture the version of you six months from now. This is what changes when you finally receive.

  • Someone offers to help with something, and you simply say yes.
  • Asking for what you need feels good. Connection, money, support, friendship, a promotion...
  • A compliment reaches you and stays there for more than a second. You let it land.
  • You are still the person people call first. But now, you have something left over when the calling is done. Yourself.
  • Something shifts in prayer too. You stop presenting your case to God and start simply being with Him. Not performing devotion. Receiving it.
  • People will notice something different in how you lead and how you show up in rooms, even if they can’t name it. Composure reads as authority. Rest reads as confidence. When you stop running on empty, you stop needing everyone’s approval to know you’re already doing enough.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

You are ready to give from overflow

Right Now

  • You give generously, but struggle to accept help, support, care, or love
  • You feel guilty when you rest or attend to your own needs
  • You believe you should be able to handle everything yourself
  • You are outwardly successful, inwardly tired or spiritually empty
  • You give from exhaustion because no one ever taught you another way

After this Workshop

  • You can receive a compliment without deflecting it
  • You can accept support without immediately repaying it
  • You can rest without believing you have failed
  • You can let yourself be loved without proving you deserve it
  • You give from your identity in Christ, not from what is left of you

Your needs do not make you weak. Receiving does not make you selfish. Rest does not make you unfaithful.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

If part of you is already thinking, "I don't have time for this," notice that thought for what it is.

It's the same pattern that has kept you giving until you had nothing left, telling you that even four hours for yourself is one indulgence too many.

You don't need to have this figured out before you arrive. You just need to be willing to sit in a room and let something in, instead of pouring something out.

RESERVE YOUR PLACE

There is another way to live. And another way to give.

Come ready to stop tending the symptoms of depletion and start transforming the identity underneath them.
